Guidelines for Preparation and Display of Poster
Only after receiving the requisite registration fee, on or before 20th January 2025, your abstract will be included in the book of abstracts and you will be able to participate in the Congress.
A poster should be self-contained and self-explanatory, which would assist different viewers to proceed on their own reading it while the author can supplement or discuss any specific points raised during the interaction.

Poster Material: Participants are requested to use eco-friendly materials for preparing poster.
Poster format: Posters should be in a single sheet of 90 cm width and 120cm depth, which can be rolled for carrying and subsequent pasting on the poster display panel in portrait format.
Contents: The poster should carry on its top, the title of the work (abstract submitted), name(s) of authors, affiliations and e-mail id of the presenter in the format of abstract submission. The poster should carry the Abstract ID on the top right-hand corner with a photo of the presenter, besides on the left the logo of NAAS and 17asc2025 as given in the template. Below this, a brief Introduction, Material and methods, Results and Discussion, Conclusions, References, and at the bottom the Acknowledgements (if any).
The contents including text, table, figures, photos, etc. should be in double-column format, while the reference and acknowledgements can be in single columns (margin to margin).
Text: While composing the poster, the use of long sentences should be avoided by using bulleted summaries.
Font: Use ‘Times New Roman’ and the font size is indicated in the poster template. To highlight, use underlined text, boldface or italics or any two combinations to emphasize words and phrases.
Abstract Number: Please mention the abstract number at the top, right corner of the poster in Font Size (FS) 36 and font colour should be dark red.
Poster Title: The title of a poster should use the same words as written in your accepted submission. The Title should be very prominent and legible from a distance of up to 2 meters. It should be in at least FS 72 Times New Roman, Center aligned and font colour should be dark green. Use title case and avoid uppercase letters
Authors and affiliations: Center-aligned Authors FS 28, Affiliations FS 20, E-mail address FS 20 and should be in robin blue in colour. Besides this, a passport-size photo may be printed as shown in the poster template.
Introduction: The title should be left aligned in FS28; the body in FS24 and justified and font should be black in colour.
Materials and Methods: : The title should be left aligned in FS28; the body in FS24, in one to two paragraphs, justified and font should be in black in colour. Include citations where ever appropriate. The body is justified.
Results and Discussion: The title should be left aligned in FS28; the body in 24 FS, is justified and font colour should be black. Figures, Photos and/or Tables are included here.
Table and Figure: Table legends should be in FS 24, placed on the top of the table. The figure legends be in FS 24, placed below the figure. The contents of the tables and figures should be FS 20 or 24. Figures/ Graphs are more desirable than tables.
Conclusion: The title should be left aligned in FS28; the body in 24 FS, is justified and font should be black in colour.
References: Title should be left aligned in FS 24, body in 20 FS, justified and font colour should be black.
Acknowledgements: (optional): The title should be left aligned in FS24, and the body in FS20 and font colour should be black.
Mounting and dismounting of posters: Designated poster panels indicated with poster ID (which will be e-mailed to delegates) will be available at the venue. The delegate can fix the poster during the session and after the session is over the poster should be removed immediately giving assess to other delegates of the succeeding session. Conference organizing staff in the poster area will help you to locate your slot and provide double-sided glue tape to fix the poster.
General suggestions: Simplicity - Attempts should be given to keep the poster simple, not congested, and to the point. Keep statements concise and avoid bulky data. Ensure that figures and graphs are high-contrast, self-explanatory, and uncluttered. Begin by listing all visuals (graphs, figures, photos, tables), then write the text to complement them. Rehearse a summary of your work before the poster session, as many attendees will seek a quick overview. Be open about uncertainties in your research, as this could lead to valuable feedback. A Poster Help Desk will be available at the venue to provide necessary materials and assistance.
